 Soft Petals - This is an experiment in using multiple exposure to produce a soft image with strange shadowy outlines. The first exposure had the subject sharply focused, using a fairly shallow depth of field and a black background. The flower was completely out of focus during the second exposure, with a white background, to produce the black outlines around the petals and the soft blending of color in previously out of focus areas. The additional backgound coloration and the warm tones of the flower was from unfiltered diffused tungsten lighting. |
